im trying to find the longitude and latitude for my area. my area is kirkcaldy fife.

try the stickies in the dish installation forum

Install Google Earth. You can then move your mouse over a photo of the aerial view of your area & get the exact Lat & Long.

Try multimap.com

Enter your post code and click find. Then look at the bottom right of the page under Map Info and it will show your Lon & Lat

Exactly the same with _www.streetmap.co.uk but you have to click on other coordinates to get the Lat and Long.

you dont get a minus setting on a tm1500

you can alter the longitude to W or E , and alter the latitude to N or S using the ok button

minus = west , plus = east
