missing channels

got technomate 1500 when i search for show comedy extra on nilesat 102 11.996 the channel does not come up on the list and i get this on taksat when i search for foxterk but got a good singel can any one help cheers

what size dish are you using

portsmouth 90 so i was told

I dont think you will get those showtime channels etc using your 90cm
I have heard you need between 1.5m and 2.5m dishes unless you moved closer to egypt !

I get foxturk on 33e with a 1.1m dish but it can break up a bit at times , so you may get it with a 90cm , but again the bigger the better
you wont get the one on 42e here in the uk as its aimed at turkey

there is good reason as to why they are called nile sat and turk sat
the places they are aimed at is stated in their names , and when it states middle east beam etc it means we are unlikely to pick them up here in the uk on a 1 metre dish or less
