Premiere - Lost on 1500Ci Okay on NEXT

Lost Premiere on TN 1500CI Is there an AU Channel?

Lost it on NEXT but Auto Update function available on 1 4 All remote Back again.

Any tips for the 1500CI?

premiere working fine on tm1500

any scrambled channel will au premiere

the latest patch is au on several broadcasters including premiere

watching hits24 as I type this , and prem sport also ok etc

perhaps impatience is the trouble ( seems to be the problem on most forums I have seen )

ie:- not resetting the box and not leaving it long enough to au

First time it's happened to me so I don't know the routine. I did leave it on a PREMIERE Sport channel until it came up with Scrambled. Will leave it on for the duration of my tea and see waht happens. How long does it usuaklly take?

No problem after I loaded the latest patch. Watched Villa and West Ham!

rebooting the box by going to standby and back on again , forcing it to do updates

sometimes you need a full reset which means turning it off completely on the power switch , waiting 10 to 30 seconds and turning it back on again

so basically the same as you would do on a pc

a warm reboot ( without switching off ) or a cold reboot , ( switching off and on )

I suspect you are just leaving it on and expecting miracles to happen

as for key updates , you would be better off using a channels like premiere 1 or hits 24 or some of the german channels , and not the ppv channels

Loaded the patch on standby and assumed 9wrongly0 that that would do the trick because i could see all the Premiere channels after the update.

will do a forced update now.

Will also pick a regular channel and not a PPV.

No luck with Premiere.

Going to go back to square one.

Will reload the Patch and do a reboot.

Will open on a FTA channel and see what happens.

Time or patience is not the problem as I have the same channels on my NEXT.

Just like the old days updating cards and forgetting to reopen on a FTA channel. I am doing something wrong, something simple but something wring wrong.

Start over. Will give feedback by way of courtesy for you help.

V. 2038 not auto-updating.

tried everything from scratch. no joy.

Even did a factory reset. No joy.

Any suggestions as to why it is not kicking in or what is the best way to go.

should i reload the previous version and then upgrade again?

Hotbird auto-updating TPS no problem on AU channels.

Premiere seems to take ages to AU. Last night was the 1st time for me to have blank screen with latest patch on 1500cis. It took over 5 mins to AU last night on Prem sport 1. It did eventually Au though.

MAKE SURE THE IDENT ON SLOT 58 is 4001 not 4101 ( for d+ )

also try using 00 to zero the keys as well , then make sure it updates

premiere is slot 63 and id 0401 for au afaik

Because it's a first it always causes you to wonder what you've done wrong.

But all other providers are opening up fine.

I have a backup on the old 5500CI so I can crosscheck.

Will double check the Providers ID for Premier and run through once again.

Funny thing is when I updated to V 2.38 everything worked for hours then off it went but just Premiere.

Let's see how today goes.

The CAS slots on the TM 1500CI run for Viaccess from 1 to 140 the Nagra from 142 up to 170 or so.

I can't understand this as I have been operating with Nagra D+ on 58 .

What's the explanation for the different settings from time to time?

Have you checked that the AU is on in the menu? Press menu, installation, options check AU is set to on and save then exit.

some ppl have had to rescan premiere recently , maybe you need to ?

Does anyone know how those slots are allocated?

What I mean is that I usually have Slot 58 for Nagra D+.

But sometimes the slots are crazy in that Nagra starts at 140 like today and runs for pages.

Should Nagra D+ always be Slot 58

sounds like your giving yourself a sh*t load of extra work mate.Why dont you just re-load the patch and all the slots will be where they are supposed to be.

I'm about to give up and call by my Sat dealer where I got the box a month ago.

1. The dish is fine - Triax1.1 motorised signal strength 95 Strength 85 Quality.

2. The Auto-Update is on.

3. The patch is Ver 2.38 - loaded several times no problem.

4. All other providers working just fine including TPS on 13ast and Taquilla D+ on 19 East and 30West.

5. The Premiere promo channels showing loud and clear.

6. Tried PATIENCE and RESCAN and FACTORY RESET and ....

7. The keys for Premiere show correctly on A401

The only difference is that the slots are numbered differently to my usual setup.

Viaccess runs from 1 to 140 and Nagra runs from 141 up to about 180.

Yet all channels - except Premiere PPV Package are opening.

At a loss to understand why.

Is there any possibility that the broadcaster can lock out the channels on my box?

It is very frustrating.

I'll have to wait for the next patch or ask my Sat dealer to run a check.

Did a reload of the Softcam.

Apparently Neovo said that sometimes the D+ ties up the AU slots for Premier. As soon as I loaded the latest Softcam for the TM1500CI Premiere opened up.

Diarmuid i had same problem today. could not get anything. read echelons info on this thread, switched box off from the back for 10 seconds switched on again everything was o.k.
