5400-Firmware update..afer many years

Hi there

I am about to upgrade a friend´s 5400 but because it has been many years since I last did it to his box, I wanted to make sure that its safe to just install the latest ToH fw + key.bin ect (i know the procedure as i have a 5400 myself thats up to date).
This are the box´s infos:
H/W oak 1&11 2.1
S/W Hic 1.05.00+
Device driver version Hic 1.05.00+
S/W last update 4 mar 2002
Loader version H 2.08

the last update for box was about 5 yrs ago, i couldnt remember how to go about either, so doing my research and 3 weeks ago installed the latest firmware, channel list and bin file and updating my funcard all is working fine

hi sgar,
yes just bang it in, your info give us the info that it is already patched and everything is as upto date apart from the toh, so use hdfsmart or your favorite loader, and make sure that if you do use hdfsmart you have all the modules ticked.
