Fortec Passion Help

hi all,just purchased a fortec passion,after my m8s in a previous job chipped in and bought me ma***n vouchers as a leaving pressie,so i'm looking for some help,i have downloaded the new firmware p_av5 also i have downloaded the v4 loader and also the channel list,they are all on a usb stick,but do i have to load the loader on the receiver or can i just update the firmware and channel list.

also the receiver seems to be running on the same frequency as my new hitatchi lcd,whenever i try to change a setting on the receiver it changes my tv over also,any ideas anyone

The loader is allready in the receiver just put the latest soft on your usb stick go into menu usb and load then just load channel list thats what i did with mine works great not a bad bit of kit.

I expect your Hitachi is quite old?

Remote codes can change after a few years.

Had a similar issue on a freeview receiver and Philips TV a few years back.

Bought a new Philips TV and remote problems solved.

not really it's a 37ld8700u so it is quite a new model
reading on another forum someone else has the same prob as it happens with a new hitatchi

load the 1.4 loader first then do the others afterwards
