tomtomn73 postcode problem

got a m8s nokia n73 and have put tomtom on it, the problem is how do i change from letters to numbers when in the postcode section. if u tap a key quick u just get numbers then letters but can not cancell letters before the last one tapped in on screen, if that makes sense. anyone help please. cheers :):confused:

I guess like texting on any Nokia it depends how many times you press the keys, and if you have dictionary enabled.

Did you put the postcode files onto it ?

yes i put my gb maps on the sd card with the program fot n73. but pressing keys repetedly just give thing like 123AB, so if u whant the A, u cant rub out the 123. cheers

Have you got the postcode files ?
They should be in a folder named ' zip '.

yes russell i have them from the great briten map from my xda orbit, thats what i dont understand, when pressing key on phone while in postcode section of tom tom, the key press producess a numeric etc on postcode section but the nokia is not running through the key presss and then letting me place the number or numeric that i whant on the screeen, if u can under stand what i mean.:)

As russel stated the n73 must have the post codes in the zip folder not the map folder. This is one of the differences from the WM5 version of TT.
I had the same problem when i installed TT6 on my N73, I had it running on my PDA no bother.
