password problem help?

i have bought an old technomate 5500 daci recevier of a friend,but the receiver is password locked so i cant access programs/menu to disable it,does anyone have any ideas as to how i get can get around this,cheers:confused:

Surely the easiest way would be to ask your friend, who put the password on the receiver.

Have you tried the factory one of 2011 ? (well it is on the 5500CI)

Type 0000 in.

A factory reset should bring it back to 0000

probably not able to access the menu to do a factory reset ask technomate for master code or even technomate retailers
