all Boxes, incl. the 7000 and the old 7000hispaņa have been updated at gxmax. All Boxes will work on all actual Providers, for our French and Spanish friends in autoroll mode.
So get the old boxes out of the cupboard, they just got a new life.

I think if you have the original bin firmware on the 7000 you have to upgrade the bootloader first from HSMD.tv (2.55 I think)first before using upd firmware. will try an update with mine ( I have original Bin firmware on mine and will post results)

Had classic bin firmware on my 7000 E+, I updated bootloader first and then new firmware. works ok, I've posted bootloader update and new firmware in public uploads.
To upgrade from classic bin firmware to new upb
Connect receiver
open MvisionE+ utils
click upgrade MvisionE+ stb firmware
click update bootloader
select file 'bootloader_upgrade'
click upgrade
let it load, then wait for good
switch off and on
select firmware upgrade.
file '7000_MIB_631.upb'
click upgrade
let it load and wait for good
switch off and on
If you already have upb firmware just upgrade firmware
You will have to rescan channels and satellites after upgrade

Hi Guys,
Did exactly as above on my mvision 7000 and managed to upgrade to MIB_631.upb .The only prob. is my remote no longer works to bring up the '9999' hidden menu and so 'activate' the box /caid's.I am now stuck with using the front panel to manouver round and access the relavant areas of the receiver, strange:confused:
Anyone else had same prob.? any ideas how to resolve this ???

Not sure but does anyone know if the Hispania 7000 is the same as the M-vision 7000 ( not E+) as there is a 6.31 MIB firmware for this receiver on GXMax. This might cure the remote problem. The above firmware is for the 7000 E+ only
Think its the same box alright, whats with the "ko"digits on the download though?

http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/6632/chipus2.png (http://imageshack.us)You can buy a new chip for old mvision to change them into E+ (+/- 15 euro).greetings
"Upgrade flashchip voor de Mvision FCIS 7000 en FS 7000 THis chip upgrade The receiver into E+ versie. then you can use the same soft for Mvision en Visionnet E+ models. easy to doo it by your self.no soldering need "

this chip comes near the ledpanel on the front panel of this receiver
i have
jtagged an old model of mvision wich had the 2.94 upb firm on it to classic again http://www.gxmax.com/downloads/old_mvision/7000/hispania/7000.jpg so you can go to 6.31 upb,but you'll need to change the bootloader from .bin to .upb
