New firmware 1.0.34 available on Astra 1 & Hotbird. Probably on Astra 2 very soon as well.

UPDATE - Well it works. Cannot see any difference in operation at all, but then again I don't (yet) have a Cam for it.
Eagerly awaiting reports from those with Cams.

UPDATE 2 - Operation of EPG different. Ability to set timers.

Yes, wasn't clock watching but probably took 15-20 minutes. Display will change to FLASH, then reboot itself. Don't touch anything till you get the picture back.

I have the vers where the widescreen works perfect but can not update the cam,hopefuly this will put it all right,we have waited long enough.

It was a black screen for me via HDMI while it updated.

right its in . 1st thing i checked was a freesat card in the dragon cam and theres still black screen so no channel4HD in a few weeks time . theres now a blue line down the left hand side of most 4.3 channels on astra like tinypop. also the remote seems to not work very well now. only thing i can find is the dragon menu works now. wish i never updated .

Confirmed blue line on True Movies 1&2. However other Astra2 4:3 channels seem OK. Remote also OK for me.

Channels in 4:3 with no blue line include CNN, ITV2, Film4, Men&Motors, Movies4Men, Performance, All Zone channels

Did you update from v1.0.21 or an earlier version? v1.0.21 on mine had the blue line on some channels down the left, I get round it by forcing viewing full screen - setting TV size to 'Wide'.

Not able to update mine yet as motorised dish out of action, so it would be helpful to find out what has changed.

edit: Confirmed that blue line is there on 'true movies' using v1.0.21 and TV settings > Resolution settings > Size set to 'Default'

i had v1.0.21 in but had all 4.3 channels made to fit the screen but now there is not a way of doing this. it looks like a reworked version of v1.0.26 to me.

The Green button STILL expands 4:3 channels to fit the screen. You just loose the top & bottom of the picture.

I also updated from version 21, but never watch True Movies, so no idea if line was there before.

Edit - Had first instance of remote non responsive. Was in EPG & pressed OK. Nothing. Pressed Exit & tried again. All OK. I had previously pressed OK in EPG a couple of dozen times with no problem prior to this.

Is the TV settings > Resolution settings > Size > Wide option still there in v1.0.34 to force 4:3 to full screen stretchyvision?

Did you all do a factory reset after the upgrade? Always recommended on any STB after a firmware upgrade.

Iam on the version with the widescreen working perfect,just fedup of having to update the cam in my echostar,cant wait for some1 to report back and to say all is good with the latest firmware,i would rather stick with the widescreen working.

My Diablo Light is behaving as badly as it did on version 1.21. It works OK in my Technomate so the cam must be OK.

Xanadu you seem to have yours working, could you let me know your settings. Also did you upgrade from 1.26.

Trying to update d+ keys with no luck.It does not have enough spaces to put in the numbers.Maybe I am doing something wrong but I wish I had stuck with the last version with the widescreen working okay.

Okay managed to input keys with dragoncam.My brain was not functioning early in morning.Just input three keys at a time then press okay.Press exit and move on to next input,when you exit it does not ask you to save but the keys have changed and for me d+ opened.Could still do with the widescreen problem sorted but at least my dragoncam is working.We could do with a list of cams that are working.I will start it off with my dragoncam version 3.01 working okay.

Have updated mine now, I will be contacting them about this too.

Diablo working better, no freezing, and can edit keys etc. Premiere HD now working okay. However, still no joy with Discovery HD... picture okay, but no sound and blue 'Invalid CI module' banner after about 5-10 seconds.

Anyone else had success with Diablo and Discovery HD?
