Just lost T*S after channel update?

Hi Guys,

wondered if any body could help. I've just done big update of channels using Humbox and downloaded the modified file to the hummy. Since then I cant get T*S to clear. I've tried :-

Loaded original firmware and then back to 9.6
Set clock to +1 GMT
Set Hummy to Card/Emu
Waited ages to see if AU
Loaded new keys with todays date
Got frustrated

Any other advice would be appreciated

You may have to load new pmct after channel settings, not sure, also make sure that its set to card+emu as this changes after channel update, key.bin doesn't include T*S as this changes too often, I have found that it sometimes takes 10mins or more to update on France 4+5, and often have to press "0" then recall and wait again, it usually clears eventually.

Been looking for PCM table for 9.6 but cant find any. Tried older versions but no luck. CAID is set to Card/EMU. I was going to load the original channel settings I took off before edit but I bloody deleted it. Also been pressing the "0" for resets as well but nothing. Slowly running out of ideas

the last posted settings are ok for TPS as posted, and no other pcm is needed other than that which is installed when you load the full toh 3.4 toh 9.6, try either france 4 or 5 and sometimes it does take a while sometimes even a switch off at the wall kicks it in

Hi Guys,

Can somebody please let me know if AU is still working? Still can't get it to clear, even tried loading new voith settings from here and re-loaded 9.6 but still no joy.

All I did originally was upload setting from Hummy using humbox 4.1, move some channels around and then download again, wish I hadn't bothered.

yup, still working, 1850hrs 1 min waiting on france 4 no go, so switched of and on with the remote and was working as it started

I'm really stuck now, not sure what to try next. Maybe start all over again!

Another quick question. Does DSR9500 run on Vista? When I try and install its comes up with a missing file error.

DSR 9500 v5.6 Key Editor will work on Vista. Have you installed (and registered)Mswinsck.ocx and Msinet.ocx. These may be your missing files

Sometimes these files are not included with the DSR9500 v5.6 zip file but you should find the files on earlier versions.

Updating TPS AES keys is still working for me.

HoT9.5 - set time to GMT + 2 hours
HoT9.6 - set time to GMT + 1 Hour.


When switching to France 5 (or 4) ensure that the channel frequency is 10873 and not the other frequencies used for the same channel.

I really have tried anything I can think of with the limited knowledge that I have. Is there anything else I could look at within the hummy to see what's going on? I wish I hadn't started all this as things were working fine.

I'd suggest going back to a previous version and see if TPS works with that.

Tried that. Even went back to the original firmware from Humax and started again. Reloaded all kinds of PCM table , but as mentioned before the one with 9.6 worked OK for me before. Tried various channel settings including PET123. Tried praying, shouting and standing on my head.
The only thing I haven't done is delete all the channels and reload. The only other clue maybe that the menu bar (press red on current channel) says CAM, where normally it shows the encryption type. Any ideas?

2. firmware reset
3. Firmware
4. patch
5 Settings
6.bin.
7.pmc

Then as ALIBE Suggested

HoT9.5 Or lower patch - set time to GMT + 2 hours
HoT9.6 - set time to GMT + 1 Hour.

Then any channel on 10874. TPS AU should kick in about 5 to 10 secs

Thanks guys for all your help on this one. A big thanks to Marco as well for spending time to list the procedure for cleaning up the firmware. I now have everything I was after working a treat, as well as PW thanks to 9.7.

Just to let you guys now for future, if you didn't know already, even after cleaning up the Hummy it still didn't work until I loaded a bin file. That surprised me because I thought everything was in the patch these days, but it seams you still need to load a bin especially after downloading a new channel listing.

Anyway, All is working
