Has anyone noticed that if you want to scan a single frequency above 10832 on Astra 19e the scan does a full satellite scan regardless of whether you choose advance search, pid search or motorised settings search.
Not a major problem .
Latest DM patch on TM1500 CI+
Regards
Edit: I've gone back to a patch dated 8/11/07 and the problem is still there.
In which patch was the blind search function disabled please?
Thanks

not sure if it helps but network search was on by default in some patches and off by default in others
turn off network search and advanced scan should work fine

echelon.
Thanks for the reply. All used to work ok as I've used this many times in the past.
The network search is off -- very strange.

my only other thoughts are the 5000 channel limit and 999 transponder limit on the 1000 series
are you sure you havent bust any of those as you do get strange results with too many in the box ?

I've been deleting unused channels today
I've now discovered it is on all satellites not just Astra.
I'll have to live with it !!!
Thanks again

Thanks - When I have the time I'll go back to some early patches to see when the difference took place and when blind search was done away with as an option.
