Hi All,

Like a lot of members I have the need to realign my motorised dish as the strong winds over the weekend has moved it. It's not very far out of alignment as I can get a broken up picture on all satellites, but unwatchable. I have realigned my dish before by using the signal (sat finder) in my Dreambox, but it takes so long to do.

As the dish only needs a tweaking, I want to realign the dish myself rather than go to the expence of getting a dish installer to realign it. I have seen a SLx Satellite Finder for £12.50 and wondered if it is suitable for my purpose. If it is not, can anyone recommend a low priced sat finder that would be suitable.

Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

BeeKay

i used this in my first ever install!

it works - BUT make sure to SET the sensitivity to minimal or it thinks a passing seagull is a satellite.
