Jaeger motor which way up


I know I have lost the plot but does the arm go up or down when the motor is mounted on the pole prior to the dish been put on the motor.

got it pointing downwards but having trouble getting working.

can get thor and sirius but then goes offline and cant get anything else.

I am sure that the mount it is mounted straight and level .

any help appreciated

Mine at home different type and that is up but something been bugging me about this

It depends on which model it is, if memory serves me right, the 99G model points up but the SG107 is mounted pointing down.

Which is it? The 36v ones are quite good, don't last forever, but a big improvement on most Diseqcs.
