Please help a Tecnomate Virgin...

Hi Guys,

I am a Dreambox user as a rule, so never dealt with Technomate.
My friend has a Technomate 1500CI+ and wants to open some channels other than the free to air stuff.
Is there a idiots guide anywhere that can help me reload his firmware and so on.
Also what will I need to get to have prem, tps ect working?

Do I need a null modem cable and is it easy enough to do?

yes you need a null modem cable

now read the thread by notmyrealname and all the best info is in it to get prem and tps and polsat etc

use the latest tm1500 patch , and latest tm softcam with the loader v1.87

prem and polsat and tps are au , digi tv and dmc and arqiva need the tm softcam updates , possibly a few others

d+ and cabo are black so dont bother with them

Don't forget to update to official Technomate latest software first! Currently v1.71.
