friend of mine bought a humax CR5510 cryptoworks
but do not know about it what does it do
any help would be appreciate

You can use it to watch all the free channels and nothing else. Its an unpatchable box. I use this box as a wedge behind the rear tyres of my car stoping it rolling back.

I got one at a charity shop for a fiver, It has come in usefull the power supply failed on my humax 5400 I replaced it with the one from the 5510.
