Hi guys,
I updated my box a few weeks ago and then been trying ever since but just can't seem to get the keys to save on my humax....when I check the ram editor they all 0's - I've tried manually to add them but they just don't save...
I've loaded up the latest firmware, latest settings, latest pmct table, latest key.bin but still don't work....
really confused and any help would be much appreciated:confused:
Thanks

if the keys are in, you need to go into standby via the remote control to save the keys,

ya tried that....I've never seen this before - whereby everything just displays 0 for every provider...
I think someone suggested uplading the catone file - I did that but didn't make a difference

It would help if you tell us which keys and which provider you're trying to watch?

Hi Prontopro,
I usually try to watch premiere but none of the channels from any provider are working....
At the moment I've gonr to the Ram editor looking at nagravision - its showing provider as 0000 and under every key there are just 0's. This is the same for every for every provider e.g. Irdeto etc...
It allows me to enter them but when I click on OK to save it just goes back to 0's. Have tried putting it on standby etc. also tried to upload the key.bin file but no luck

When you look in the RAM editor at the provider ID can you highlight it then using your left and right cursors on your remote are you able to bring up any other providers in Nagravision? If you can't then I'd start again if I were you and go back to the last version you had working. If no provider id's are showing then it sounds as though the update you did wasn't successful.
Program with the last patch you had working get that working then try again. What patch were you trying to load in? If you've missed out a patch or two it's possible that the patch didn't have all the info but was an update patch and you've corrupted your box.

Are you using DSR 9500 Emu ED56? If so are you certain it's set up correctly?

Your stb should be turned ON, and on a FTA channel when uploading a key bin file

Have you checked your settings in DSR9500 yet?
Click the "?", then go to "Settings".
Tick "Humax Def". Select PC type - Default. Com port - select the one you use, normally 1. FW check should be Off. Verify from box must be On. Make sure Humax is on a channel. Click "Write" first. Then browse for your key file. Once selected, writing to the box starts immediately, then verifying. Once verified, switch the box to standby from the front panel. When the time shows, keys are stored.
Sorry if this is rather basic, but even if you've already done this, it's worth going through it again. For some reason some computers seem to lose the settings. Good Luck!
Had same problem but changed settings to card+ emu+ s and it works ok. Should we be getting tPS too?

run delete all channels, load original firmware and a channel list, then load the latest full patch and settings file and the latest key bin.
This usually cures most probs with the hummy, except failing power suppllies.

Doesn't sound like a PS problem though, so yes, that should cure it.
I had this problem yesterday but went into one of the meus and the new soft showed card onl;y. As soon as I put in card+emu+s or something like that everything came up.
