is it just a supersport card, or a gold package card?

also what cam are you trying to update it in, cause i read somewhere the gold package does not update properly in a trex cam, but obviously does update in a conax cam, or a dual cam

Turn receiver off at mains, then on. Leave overnight if necessary. Have you checked the subscription status in the menu? And more to the point, have you deleted the channels, put in the new frequencies, and scanned for the new channels?

Theres a funny thing about my digit alb card. It still shows preview two months after I got it from goldwafers and is still working. My old card used to update every month but this just stays with preview and keeps on working. Is this normal? Are the cards from goldwafers prepaid and activated for 1 year?

I was told they have various methods for updating cards, it just depends how it was done. I've certainly seen the same thing.

i have also had probs with the alb card it wouldn't work after i changed the freq's over. it took a whole day to get something back on, the **** was on, but films wouldn't. still freezing today, so put the card in a dragon cam, &its working ok now.

Gold Package will always show as preview mode in the subscription info.

Standard package you'll see it update each month.

Yeah its the full gold package. My last card was the full gold package but bought from a different supplier and this had updated info every month on the card. So there must be different ways they update the cards.

Not sure what you mean by "update my Conax cam", Maggie. The Conax cam is an official cam for reading Conax cards (official or otherwise). There is no emulator software for the cam. You can't update the keys, there are none in the cam.

Yes, perfectly good cam - but doesn't need updating.
