This is ONLY for the dedicated Tomtom Units, I have got this working on my Go500 :D

TT7 Keygen, ****.txt (M e t a) & Patch zip :-

****WARNING**** - Make sure you have got a full working back up copy - or use a new memory card !!!!!


Create new folder on C drive - name it Keygen. Add the two files - ****.txt (M e t a), tt7_keygen.exe and your v7 map folder, in this example I'll use the United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ir eland v705.1480 map


c:\Keygen\****.txt (M e t a) (file)
c:\Keygen\tt7_keygen.exe (file)
c:\Keygen\United_Kingdom_and_Repu blic_of_Ireland (folder)

Start your Command Prompt :-
Start -> run -> cmd -> OK

Type in :-
cd C:\KeyGen click ”Enter”

Type in :-
tt7_keygen.exe United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ir eland ABCDE12345 (Replace this with YOUR DeviceID)

Press ENTER
You should then see OK - if not then you have got something wrong.

Important: To creat a working .DCT Write your DeviceID without Space in the middle and use CAPS.


If you are using the new Navcore_SE_7.162.8492 from the link in this thread you DO NOT need to use the 'Patcher' - Extract from zip - open folder named 'COPY contents onto Memory Card' & copy all the files onto your Tomtom memory card - overwrite any existing files.

If you already have Navcore_SE_7.162.8492 on your Tomtom you will have to use the Patcher.

Unzip the file named 'Patch' to a folder on your PC

Copy your file named 'ttsystem' from your Tomtom Memory Card in this folder with all the Patch files.
Run the 'RunMe.bat' (Double click on it), wait, you have now a ttsystem and a ttsystem.old, copy the file named 'ttsystem' back to your Memory Card. Put memory card back into your Tomtom, it will take a few minutes to boot up, then you should now be able to see the new V7 map.

If you want to try any other v7 maps check out the do***ent named ' M e t a' in the keygen download, have a look what map version numbers are in there as a different version number may not work with the patcher.

When i did mine it was all ok, then when i connecred to tomtom home it said there was a new version of software available. I downloaded to my tomtom, When i re started i could see no maps i had to copy the patched tt system file over to my card and on reboot all ok

Yes, but what i doe, i get no land map is avalible,

ps. i use "Western_and_Central_Europe_710" and with tt 500,

i don't know what is wrong:confused::confused::confuse d:

If you followed the instructions to the letter in the first post it will work the only reason it will not is if the file tt system is wrong.

The keygen only works if you use a map version that is in the file named 'M e t a' in the keygen folder. Is the Western & Central Europe map this one ? Western_and_Central_Europe_710_15 61

Hopefully it won't be too long before more maps can be added to the M e t a file.

What software version have you got on your Go500 ?
I had to upgrade to the version I've posted in the first post to get it to work on my Go500. Think my previous version was 7.012.
If you've got the version from the first post then I'd guess you've made a small mistake as this version works on just about all of the Tomtom units - so delete it all & try again from the beginning.


So far I've heard that it works on the Go300, 500, 700, 510, 710, 910, One Classic, One v1, One v2, One v3 & One XL

That's why it's not working - you need software v7 for your Tomtom - use the one in first post.

Now you can download maps easier than ever...no need go to rapidshare, you can download 7.10 maps from tomtom for free

On tomtom's site is written "The TomTom Map Store is closed while we're updating and improving it. Our apologies for the inconvenience. Please check back soon!" so maybe these work only for awaile..have to see what the update do with the links.

Tap your Tomtom screen in bottom right corner - on the gps signal bars - it will show your version number in a small box - tap this box & you'll find your DeviceID, software version & map version numbers. The DeviceID is a 10 digit code - eg. :-

Enter it into the keygen when required - do not put a space in the middle.

Just the keygen - make sure the map version you are using in in the M e t a do***ent.

with the old maps you used the midi file is this not the case with the 7.?? ones?

Do you have to run the keygen and also the patch if you all ready have the 7.161 software on your machine or does the keygen give you the code like in the old midi keygen did?

If you do need to patch the 7.161 software as well what happens when tomtom release new software?

arh,i woundered why i didnt get an activation code this time.i think the way with the keygen generates the dct file this time. i have just upgraded from 705 to 710 by following the first post again. this generates the dct file in the map folder,then i just dragged the folder in tomtom folder. dont forget the newer M E T A doc also.

i have treid every thing cant get it to work i have g0910, update S?W to 7.61 and i want to load uk & ireland maps v710 i have **** file with the correct text, the error message i get is as follows, cant find United_kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ir eland\*.**** file error. I have checked the **** file which is in the keygen folder and it has the correct line in for my map its the one i cut and paste from here. Why is this not working. Which map file do you also put in the keygen folder what is the extention

hi m8,did you put the uk map,the M E T A file (latest)and the keygen in the folder on c drive? once you run the command, and says ok as in first post,u then need to drag the patched uk folder into tomtom. just make sure you have the latest M E T A file.

Moreover, most new functions of complete navcore 7 don't work on Tomtom one due to his hardware limits.
TT1LE7162.rar requires cracked "ttn71628492" file to work with 7.xx maps.

When using TTS, normal sounds are not available: if you use other sounds than TTS, sound is stopped until you reset, both TTS and normal sound. So don't use MP3 player and alerts.

In "Safety preferences" disable:
- Warn when driving faster than allowed
- Warn when driving faster than a set speed
because this functions use recorded sounds.

Disable Safety cameras, autovelox, blitzer, etc. because they use recorded sounds for warnings too.
In more countries Safety cameras, autovelox, blitzer etc. from users are available as Point Of Interest: u can use them.
Use this for warnings of other kinds of POI too.

Change preferences -> Manage POIs -> Warn when near POI
Select a category, the distance and one of these warnings:
- Full spoken
- Brief spoken
- Type in your warning
Do not use "Sound effect".

Once files of navcore have been copied, you need to copy "LoquendoTTS" folder, with main files and language files, according to the language you want to use.Use the LoquendoTTS files I have posted on the forum.

Hi guys. Very new to this but trying to d/l the W Europe map

Is there a good d/l manager that will pick up from where the d/l freezes as it is a 1GB file and I don't want to keep trying only to get to 40% each time?

Hi: Russell,sorry for delay,I followed your loquendoTTS post for the loquendo "cracks"(ttn & ttn.crack. I then updated to Navcore_SE_7.162.8492 & added the above ttn & ttn.crack. When first tried I got "no voices available",I had deleted my original voices file & was expecting "English Kate" from the loquendoTTS set up.I put back in the original voice 05.chk & .vif (Jane) & was surprised to find this worked,plus bell warnings for cameras etc. OK too.Device shows:aPP 7.162(8492/071121) OS:2327. Map:UK & ROI v705.1480.

New to this so I may have got the wrong idea.

TomTom One XL with pre-loaded UK and Ireland in the internal memory.

Took a full copy of the internal memory via USB - all ok.
Copied Keygen and W Europe from the links above; ran Keygen on it as in Russell1's excellent post. It created a .dct in the same folder.
Bought a 2GB SD card and copied the folder to it.
Not recognised by TomTom.

Got the impression that when using the card the internal memory is not read

Copied the PC copy of the original memory to the card (W.Eur. still on it) and it works on UK but no option to access the W. Europe maps.

It is possible that the W.E. map id is not the one in the M_e_t_a list but I don't know how to check that.

Any help welcomed.

The above seems to be true as when I connect to TomTom Home it only sees the mode I am in:
a) No SD card it only show the internal memory
b) With SD card it only shows the SD card.

TomTom Home recognises that I have Western_Europe_1GB_710_1561
but the One XL device doesn't show it on the maps menu.

OK guys all sussed.

My mistake was trying to just copy ttsystem from the file in Russell1's first post and overwrite the original one - that doesn't seem to work.

Patched my own ttsystem and copied it back to the SD card using a card reader and all suddenly started working.

Not sure if I've got sound but that's the next job. :D

If I put one of this european cracked maps on can I still download the updates direct from tom tom or will i have have trouble. The tomtom is registered with tomtom.

IF you upgrade your software direct from Tomtom you'll have to patch it as the instructions in the first post. I've got this on my Go 500 with the Navcore_SE_7.162.8492 software version & I am able to use the mapshare.

Make a back up copy before you make any changes !!

Quick question about the lack of sound for some people.
I've run a quick demo trip from NYC to niagara, and the voice is working - presumably this will be the case when I'm actually over there using the device?

No they only work on the dedicated Tomtom units. Think latest version is 6.02 (or could be 6.03 ?). Not much difference between the different software versions on v6.

It is the latest U.K postcode file - there are two files in the download after unzipping - put both files into the folder named 'zip' on your Tomtom.

I had the map great britain-map v605.0 installed and replaced that with the tt7 map after also updating the firmware from v 5.410 to v6.560 then to v7.903 using tomtom home. Any help would be most welcomed as it took me hours trying to take in russels instructions as im not that good with the comand prompt thing,thanks baz.

You need to use a patched version of tomtom if you want to use copied maps & then you will need to activate the maps using the easyusetool which is posted on the forum.
Here's a tool you can use to patch ORIGINAL software versions, and it can also be used to patch tomtom home.

The file you need to patch is the " ttsystem " file on your tomtom.
Once patched you should be able to use the latest v815 maps.

Hi russel, tried the easytool and used the run for me all automatic and got to the part where it shows id then it says ...used option 2 hint You also need a patched tt system/tomtom navigator.exe. Thought i had already patched tt system already.

You need only to copy the (downl) cracked tt system over your org system.
(latest navcore' you can't patch with a tool)

Thanks maxhum, after hours and hours tring to get updates working ive given up on it and started from the begining of russels thread ive bought a 2g card, put it in card reader on pc and formatted it then i unzipped the files from the Navcore SE 7.162.8492. and sent them to the card then created a folder on C drive and named it keygen and put the tt7 keygen file, **** (text do***ent) and the united kingdom and republic of ireland folder in. Now when i go to command promt and type in cd C :\keygen and click enter it becomes C:\keygen> if after that i type in tt7 keygen.exe united kingdom and republic of ireland + my device id i get message," tt7 is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file." I know theres something im doing wrong but havent a clue as to what.
