Will a 60 cm dish be big enough in the belfast area to get a good signal for digi tv on 1 west

According to Lyngsat most of the DigiTV channels use the Spot 3 beam.

This shows that a 60cm is an absolute minimum so expect some channels to break up especially in bad weather.
Of course, you will get a better answer from someone who lives local to you.

I would tend to agree , as here in the northwest an 80cm does work ok and 1.1m even better , so 60cm seems to be too small but may be ok for some channels in good weather , and a 0.2db lnb would also help
