Samsung G600

I'm thinking of buying a samsung G600 off fleabay however the seller has stated the phone sometimes does not power up and mostly only works with charger, any1 know why this could be?? Sounds to me like it needs a new battery?:confused:

Hi, Ive got one had it a couple of weeks now no probs at all battery life on it is great and loads of stuff on it too i love it regards. spoons1
