Can anyone let me know if it is possible to get any **** on Hotbird (i think) we are offshore and the **** has gone off ***view, we have a humie 5400 with whaty i believe a black ice cam or magic cam not to sure, any advice would be greatly appreciated, cheers and a very merry xmas to all at satpimps

you may get one or two channels , like tps multivision 1 for instance , if you patch the hummy correctly and update daily on france 4 or similar

I believe it is already patched, I want to delete a few channels but not sure what to do, also how to update?

Hi scorpio61,

If it is already patched just go to channel France 4 or 5 it will auto update within seconds & you can watch Multivision, Spice & XXL. Make sure time is +1 hr if in UK.

Hotbird on 13e , 10.873 V 27500 3/4 Channels for TPS Au

The following are the channels from which the TPS keys can be
updated for Autoupdate using the latest patch - do this daily


France 5
LCP - La Chaîne Parlementaire
M6 Music Rock
M6 Music Black
Equidia
ESPN Classic Sport France ( now sci-fi channel )
France 4
Ushuaia TV
TV Breizh
France Ô

if the above fails for any reason , reboot the box by turning it off on the rear switch or at the main power plug ,
waiting for about 10 seconds and then turn it back on again

And Multivision's are on 11.662V 27500 on Hotbird..

note you must use the 100% correct frequencies for this

you need to download the latest patch, pmct table & keybin - load to your box with null modem cabel in that order & take note of DSR9500 settings (fw check off etc)

hi scorpio61,
not sure how good your connection is out there, but have a butchers up in the help section as there are some guides that will help, also i think the tps spice is 2300 onwards.

if you are a a static platform, you might think of going to 19e, as there are about 4 in the premier provider for 24hrs.

thinking on it, check your stb status and report back from fw version down to sys id and we can tell you what or if you are patched to.
