Sorry to ask a daft question, (just bought my tomtom) which of the 3 is the most useful file? What type of file appears on the tom tom original freebee speed camera download?

You would have to remove the original TomTom cameras using TomTom Home or unselect them in 'Show POI on Map' in preferences.

It's up to you which of the 3 you find most useful.
I prefer the consolidated as it's less work to install/enable, and seperates the main types, fixed gatso, mobile, and specs.
For warning distance I use 300m for all except mobile which I set to 1000m.

If the maps etc are on an SD card, can you just replace the original files with the new one using a standalone SD card programmer?
