Best image /cam/keys

hello all
I have a 9100 and I want to load the most stable image via Technomate cc6 and the best cam and keys for opening the most channels that is available at the moment would you please advise what is best to use.

I currently find ur10beta2 best in flash and on mmc , use the mmc to boot in iboot

mgcamd v1.27 works ok , as does ccam 2.04 for most stuff , and gbox 225 for you know what

cheers echelon what keys do i use with them is it dreambox key or satan key i no not for gbox as thats is for u no what but with the other two cams

I usually use satans but use any you like m8 , dreambox , sins , satan , the standard softcam is really all you usually need once you have the key bundle installed

As echelon said once they're installed you only really need to update the softcam.key

A great little program is Florikey 4.5 beta. It finds keys and you can set it to load the softcam with the keys. Google it.

Ps I use UR 011 beta in flash and use Cccam 2.04.

Use hacksat v5 key plugin, that way you only download the keys you need unlike with bundles which tend to become messy causing conflicts some times;)

got to agree, hacksat is the best of the key downloaders at the moment

could someone tell me how it is possable to load mgcamd1.27a in to my 9100 and watch premiere i have got mgcamd126 in now but i can only find multivisions that open should there be more. i have put ur10beta2 on flash as echelon advised so hope that helps.

Depends on what image your using in iboot -nemesis has it already in the download extras section for some of the older images i think you would have to manually install it via ftp & reboot box

There is a 1.27a fix out there. You rename the old mgcamd ppc so that you can ftp the 1.27a one and rename this to match the old one as it was. Cmod 755 the file and restart the cam.

Jono, did you manage to load Mgcamd (which version did you use?) and get it working on Premiere, DigiTV etc.? It appears TPS are not using their usual encryption at the moment (last 4 days or so) so you may lose that too when they get back to normal.

downloaded from the panel mgcamd version 1.26a i then put in mgcamd1.27a in var/bin but renamed to mgcamd1.26a but with no luck had Satan keys in since last update but not the update yesterdfay the one before no joy must be doing something different but I'm not sure what.
as you no its in a m8 house not mine so I'm relying on him to respond to my emails and do the things that these kind people suggest hoping by now he will be a member of this site and start posting in this thread.

Did you remember to Cmod 755 after you ftp thefile across to the TM?

mine is renamed to mgcamd1.26a.ppc not mgcamd1.26a

I also chmod it to 755 , and you have to reboot aferwards too

I'm the mate of Jono's that has also just had a new TM 9100. I'm new to this forum and to satellite TV altogether. Jono has been a fantastic help, as well as all of you that have added to this thread. Just wanted to contribute to the thread by saying that I've followed your advice in the previous posts and all seems to be working really well. So pleased, thanks.

Can I just ask... I'm thinking of buying a Digitalb card. Will mgcamd v1.27 still open premier channels with a digitalb card installed or do i need to do something else to enable me to use both? or have I completely misunderstood how it works??

Welcome to the forum

MGcamd is not a card reader but can be used in combination with NewCS to work with a card which gives you all emu
functions plus card

Or you could switch to CCcam which is both emu and card reader

well done Gazzza for sorting it out told you it would come together with a little help from guys here on the forums.
if your getting a digit alb card then you may be swapping to gbox 2.25 for you no what as I'm sure people wouldn't mind a full sub to that.
anyway if not we can just download mgcamd+newcas from the panel rename the mgcamd with the new version and have digitalb in card slot so you will have digit alb and all the other open channels at the moment.
