Help with Premier

Hi M8s
Been of the scene for a while so not sure whats going on.
Originally running 9.6 so overlayed with 9.7b, 9.8 then 9.8 without AU.
Loaded new PMCT and key.bin.
Hummy says Service is not running or scrambled and doesn't even know Premier in Nagra.
Checked settings in Config menu, nothing obvious.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

need dsr 9500emu ed 5.6 cw and latest keybin too.
Meake sure loader settings are correct.

First prog hot 9.6 then latest 9.8 without au. then it will be ok m8.

also when you have already hot9.8a....>go back to hot 9.6then latest 9.8 without au .

same thing happen to me
so I PUT NEW PATCH ON FROM TOE
QAND NEW BIN FILE iF YOU PUT THE PATCH
FOR Z OR Z+ ON 5400 YOU WOULD HAVE A LOT OF PROBLEMS i learn by mistakes make sure
you put the right patch on the right machine

Are you sure you've loaded the latest PCMT as the problem you have described sounds like a CAID one? I'd check the PMCT settings and make sure that CAID 1801 is first. If it isn't the Humax will try to decode another encryption type and that's possibly the reason why you are getting the "not running or scrambled" message and the small "N" is not appearing.

Also check that you have loaded the latest keys.

Done exactly as Maxhum suggested, prog 9.6 then overlayed 9.8 without AU.
Loaded todays key via ram editor.
Still black screen.
It looks like the problem is as Prontopro suggested but I will admit I don't understand how to check PMCT.
I thought a full emu (9.6) included a PMCT.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Use the remote and choose the following sequence

Menu-ToH-EPG-PMCT

In the PMCT screen look for the line CARD+EMU and to the right there will be a sequence of numbers.

Look for the 1801 and check to see if it first.

if 1800 is first then you can manually edit the number by selecting the line then using the right cursor to move onto the number then type 1801 and select. Exit menu then reset the box using the 0-RCL sequence.

If the keys are valid it should kick in.

This is a temporary fix as the info will be lost if you switch off or go into standby. The way to fix it is to load the latest PMCT file (checking beforehand that the 1801 is first on the CARD+EMU line in the file before you upload)

Downloaded new PMCT and done as Prontopro suggested - still nothing.
Then I noticed that soft reset (0-RCL) not working as normal. Usually flashes up 'Smart Card is accepted' message but now nothing.
Removed Smart Card, cleaned contacts and bingo - all ok again.
