installing softcam in 8000s

how do i do it - vtools wont recognize file please help

The only way I know to but the keys in vtools is to goto key editor and load the software and enter the keys and save it then upload it to the VN. This does not work with the pay SW. The only good thing about this if you have got a channel that does not change the key that much and if you have to reset the keys you will still have the ones that you but in and don't have to but them in again. don't think the softcam works on the VN best to us the hot key to but in the new keys.

ok thanx for info - just set it up hoping that things had moved forward with this box- I think Ill plug the technom8 back in.
