Iv'e had a couple o weeks with mySony KDL46x3500 and it's well tickety-boo. No motion probs at all with the footy but I did see a 42" Panasonic plasma yesterday in our local Cricket club and it was worse than cwap.

The fairy footballers were jagging up and down as they ran and the ball was staggering allways. I think it's a couple of years old or just plain cwap as it was unpleasant to watch :D.

I have the SONY KDL40W2000 -- How much is the SONY KDL40X3000 40" Full HD X3000 LCD Sony BRAVIA over there? Thats double the spec of mine and some good reviews. UK price is 2,000 EUR

The Sony KDL-40V3000U you have been offered does not look a good spec mate, but would need to see the full spec etc. The X3500 or the one above is a very good buy and a quality set. Ib be getting rid of mine next year and getting one I reckon.

Well its great to read all your replys maybe its not so good after all don`t know very much about HD TV`s but am learning as for the W3000 and X3000 the spec seems much better but are also much more expensive, don`t really want to spend 2000 euro on a TV for me its not worth it so I may wait until the price of the W and X models come down further. How often do Sony review their prices. Sorry for the late reply.

For the dining room I am waiting for the 32D3000 100Hz to come down in price. I am not buying a 50Hz telly after watching the 46x3500.

They are hardly budging at the mo. The pricing on Sony tellys don't move much. The 32S3000 50Hz is just less than the 'D' by £100.

Nice tv with a built in high def tuner, i think in the next few months a few tvs will start to have this feature.

Ive got a 42 inch panasonic plasma, which i am well pleased with and the prices have really come down on the plasmas.

Ive got a 32 inch lcd upstairs, which is an hyundai which im well pleased with, but the freeview tuner in the set is not very good.

I have always believed that anthing over 32 inch go for plasma, my mom and dad have just bought the 40 inch sony v3000 and the picture is good, but even they think the picture on my panasonic is better.

I thinks lcd's are getting a lot better now, and maybe in the future i will plumb for one, but when you can pick up the latest 42 inch panasonic viera plasma full hd for less than 700 pound i dont think you can go far wrong.

The best plasma i have seen has to be the pioneer quros, but these are very expensive.
