The **** won't open

I got a digitalb card a few weeks ago but the **** won't open. I think it has something to do with parental settings on the card. Is there anyway I can change the settings using a dreambox?

you have to go into settings and change it by putting in a pin number, I think the pin is a default of 1234, happened to me but that was about 2 years ago, gave the shop a bad time until i went to settings etc I was using a conax cam in a humax 5400.

You need a conax cam to do it. Can't be done in a dreambox alone. There is a way you can do it via a pc and card writer which can be dicy but I did do my old card like this a year ago. I can't remember exactly how though.

change the maturity rating to 18 ,cass2/3 can view inside the card with cam.pilsner

Can certainly be done with a Technomate 1000/1500, would be surprised if it isn't possible with DB. Once changed, the setting remains - you can then use it in your usual equipment.

It isn't possible with a dreambox alone. Trust me I have one, a dreambox and a digit alb card. You can read the details of the card but there is no way to alter the maturity rating.
