can someone tell me if you can run two receivers off 1 lmb .with just one cable from the lmb going in to a spliter . or is there some other way i have a lmb with just one out let thanks:confused:
Im not aware a device exists'
The problem you have is that the receiver sends 18v to the lnb for horizontal polarity and 14v for vertical therefore you would have major contention issues and woulkd probably blow the LnB
In theory you can do it but its messy and your H/V polarity will always be determined by the master receiver (the one where the single cable is attached.
Additionaly you would need a special kind of splitter one that does not pass the dc to the lnb.
No reputable satellite installer would recomend this at all
The best scenario would be to have the two receivers on one cable using the loop through faility on the master receiver but which ever one you would use the other would have to be in stand by
Even better still fit a twin lnb and run another cable to the second receiver

Hi,
I have two Sat Rx's running off a 1.2m dish, a Manhattan Plaza 550 (36v) drives the dish, plus I have a Humax HDCI:2000 which also takes the signal from the same lead.
It's pretty simple to do! You can use either a Loop Through system. Or do as I did and get a £6:00 Sat Switch Box from ******s (1 in 2 out) This then takes the main signal/lead from the Dish/LNB, from the sat switch box you have two leads out, so you just switch the incoming signal from one Sat Rx to the other!! Simple!! Rgds, TB.

In other words, you can do it so long as you don't want to use both receivers (maybe in diferent rooms) at the same time. If you want to do that get a twin (or probably cheaper a quad - search that auction site!) LNB. If you want to use one receiver or the other, but not both at the same time, no problem.
