any idea what a 42" tv weights?

been looking at one of theese glass units for lcd tvs which holds 120kg i think it was,but there would also be my media center and a few other bits and peaces,if any one has a idea how much they weight in kg

All depends on the make and model but the 32" lcd I just got weighs 19kg so hung it on a plaster board wall with no problems;)

LCDs weigh much less than plasma, a large plasma can be 55kg.

Got a Panasonic Viera 42" plasma, weighs in at 42Kg with pedestal or 35Kg TV only for wall mounting.

My new,shiny Sony Bravia 40V3000U (exceptional TV by the way!) weighs just under 25 kgs on its stand.

so if i say its weighs 50kgs and the unit can hold 120kgs that should hold my media center as well would you say?
