Wyświetlanie zdjęć niestety mnie zawiodło. Wszystko jest fajnie zorganizowane, ale jest małe ale..... Jakość wyświetlanych zdjęć pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Zdjęcia przy wyświetlaniu są skalowane do niższej rozdzielczości. Wygląda to mizernie. Związane jest to podobnie jak wyświetlanie obrazu z niezbyt dopracowanymi sterownikami.

Ciekawą opcją jest możliwość katalogowania zdjęć.
Można tworzyć podgląd zdjęć - na to czekałem. Niestety nie jest robione to automatycznie jak np w XBMC. Do tego służy opcja "optymalizacja obrazów" - Trwa to jednak wieki. Po takiej operacji, każde zdjęcie ma ikonkę z podglądem, a także możemy wtedy wyświetlać zdjęcia w trybie slideshow. Mam nadzieję, że w finalnej wersji zostanie to jakoś inaczej rozwiązane.

Dodam tylko, że możemy oglądać fotki w formatach JPEG, BMP,TIFF, GIF i PNG

Bardzo fajna rzecz. Dzięki temu menedżerowi możemy dokonywać podstawowe operacje na plikach i katalogach. Bez problemu dział kopiowanie pomiędzy dyskami podpiętymi do AboxaHD, Nie ma również problemów z eksplorowaniem sieci (SAMBA). Szkoda tylko, że nie chodzi to tak szybko jak na PC:(

Kilka faktów w skrócie na temat tego co znajdziemy w sofcie o numerku 0.9.865

*Menu AzboxaHD niestety nie jest w HD, mimo to prezentuje się bardzo ładnie na TV. Czcionki są idealnie wyświetlane na ekranie. Nie ma tu żadnego efektu skalowania jak np. w IPBOXIE.

*Oprogramowanie jest bardzo szybkie. Śmiało śmiem stwierdzić, że działa równie szybko jak Enigma, a może w niektórych przypadkach szybciej. Poruszanie po menu to sama przyjemność. Problem stwarza tylko pilot, który chyba jest wadliwy, gdyż różnie się czasami zachowuje.

*Przełączanie kanałów nie jest niestety zbyt szybkie. Co prawda tuner przełączy kanał w ułamku sekundy, jednak musimy poczekać chwilkę, aż pojawi się obraz. Nie ma to znaczenia czy jest to kanał FTA,HD czy SD.

*Jakość obrazu wydaje mi się, że jest nieznacznie gorsza, winę za ten fakt ponoszą sterowniki

*Współpraca z diseqC w konfiguracji A+HB prawidłowa

*Skanowanie satelity szybkie

*Współpraca z kartą N-ki prawidłowa. Oczywiście chodzi to co ma prawo chodzić na innych tunerach niż te, które daje N-ka

*AzboxHD z tą wersją softu niezbyt poprawnie współpracuje z kartą C+. Kanały HD nie chodzą.

*Karta Cyfrowego Polsatu - OK

*TNK - również OK

*Nagrywanie nie chodzi, timeshift również nie działa

*EPG działa świetnie, oczywiście brak polskich ogonków

*Dysk wewnętrzny formatowany jest do ext3, choć można podłączać dyski spormtowane w FAT i NTFS

*Napędy podłączone przez USB działają prawidłowo

*Player filmów świetny. Do poprawy sterowniki. Wypuszczany jest dźwięk w 5.1, DTS

*Player audio OK

*Player foto - koszmar. Zdjęcia są skalowane do niskiej rozdzielczości. Można za to tworzyć automatycznie miniatury fotek

*Player youtube - rewelacja, bardzo szybki

*Przeglądarka www działa, jednak potraktujmy ją jako ciekawostkę

*Aktualizacja softu przez internet działa świetnie. Dość długo trwa jednak sam proces aktualizacji

*Ściąganie listy kanałów - nie działa

*Bardzo spodobało mi się sortowanie kanałów. Świetnie wykonane. Super szybkie.

*SAMBA OK

*FTP nie działa /na razie/

*NFS nie działa


PODSUMOWANIE

AzboxHD na tą chwilę z softem w wersji 0.9.865 nie obsługuje polskiego języka, stąd i nie ma polskich ogonków w EPG

Jest to odbiornik satelitarny na który wiele osób czeka i to nie tylko ze względu na jego możliwości tv-sat. To również centrum multimedialne.

Jak wspomniałem jest to wersja beta softu. Są rzeczy dopracowane w 100% i takie które w ogóle nie działają.

Często pytacie mnie o opinie AzboxHD VS IPBox Mogę powiedzieć, że Azbox jako odbiornik tv-sat jest w miejscu w jakim IPBOX był 2-3 miesiące temu. Mimo, że go jeszcze nie ma na rynku jest bardzo dojrzały, choć nie gotowy do wejścia na rynek . Porównywałem różne wersje softu i wierzę, że w krótkim czasie uda się poprawić wszystkie mniejsze lub większe bugi.

Jeśli tylko producent zdąży z nowym softem do momentu pojawienia się odbiornika w sprzedaży to wróżę mu sukces.
Otrzymamy szybki odbiornik tv-sat HD PVR TWIN + player MNT w jednym pudełku.

Mam ogromną nadzieję , że producent nie popełni błędu wielu firm i nie wprowadzi odbiornika z takim softem.

Na dzień dzisiejszy to jedyny taki sprzęt na rynku.

CDN ...proszę o wyrozumiałość, pracuje po 10-12 godzin dochodzi do tego rodzina, dzieci.....a dopiero w wolnym czasie robię opis

AzBox is powered by Sigma chipset ( mipsel ), which is much more different than a ST40 CPU used in IPBox , and this version of Incubus Camd is coded just for AzBox with much more funcionalities like to add more than one CCcam server :)

Given that you have the late beta versions of Azbox, I wonder if you have the time to test what the maximum video bitrate the Azbox can playback without jittering, or frame dropping.
Would you be able to find the bitrate's threshold where Azbox can't keep up anymore?

The types of videos I am referring to are HD movies, preferrably coded with h264 or VC-1. I'm looking forward to interesting test results. Everything from raw bluray video streams, to ~8GB h264 rips of bluray discs.

i dont think it will work ,remember Blu ray has HDCP encryption and as far as i know this wont work on Linux (i´m talking about original Blu ray Movies/disks not bleu ray as recorded data thru Bluray PC burner) AZBOX HD is Linux based ,so make your conclusions...regards

You are right pipino but the protection on the Blu-Ray disk is called BD+.
HDCP is the encryption mecanism put on the HDMI (DVI) interconnection.

It is very much possible, and since the kernel patch is distribution independent anyone can apply it if UDF filesystems aren't supported in the Azbox Linux kernel.

People have been saying for many months what it CAN do, no talk of anything wrong or what it CAN'T do, if fact they made it sound perfect - but obviously not. On original declaration included in every sold box, origin of box is south korea, so every authority especially one which is dedicated to custom tax, asking on import in every country origin of product, and do***ents etc... This box is not produced in China. On this website there is several missudenrstanding AzBox EVO XS is STB from SD line of STBs, only correct is that SD line was produced in China, but HD not....

In the past the Azbox STBs have been your basic run of the mill STBs, but I am totally convinced that Opensat's approach to the AzboxHD is totally different.

IMHO, they are very serious about making the AzboxHD the best box they can. I fully expect that we will all be more then satisfied with the finished STB. This will be no run of the mill, lets get some sales, as fast as we can STB.

IMHO, Opensat's goal here is to rule the HD and IPTV world, and from what I've seen and heard, they my just do that.

The AzboxHD will more then compete with anything out their now or in the near future, including Qbox and all the others.

Be patient, rewards are coming.

well looks like Incubus cam for Azbox HD was reliased today
this maybe a sign that the box is not far a way from a real reliase date.

but if the IncubusCamd is as stable as it is in the Cuberevo then is not good.
i hope they have fixed the freezing problems that are on cuberevo , so we can not suffer from the same thing on Azbox .

i have just install it on my IPbox 9000 now
and im just connected for test to a mate and works good

2 hours now with no freezes is good , and fist time this works so stable


there are reliase versions 0.55 for all models ,
including the AzBox HD Sigma chipsett.

Ask for beta sample, i am sure that they will give it to you, that is best way to see how it works, quality of HW and so on.

in return i gott many questions like , have you ever used linux box ?

i also replayd to them and told them that i have many linux receiver,
i send mail with all the linux receivers i own , then i got no more replays from them,

i dont want to be negative here, but i dont think this is the way to treat a costumer,

Look friend, i dont know why they didnt gave sample to You, i am just user as you are, i send to them my CV, skill's and so on..... It is not just enough to have linux powered stb, or few of them o be beta tester.... There is big background of every STB.... I personally tested all emu's without any GUI, or automatic installation and so on..... Manually configured scripts and so on.

I have been using Linux box since the first DM 70000 Blue display come out, and know few things .

I always install things manualy , emus , pluggins , ad-on, channel list etc
been using Linux on my PC for some time to , so i know the basic things on how to settup both images and boxes , done it now on so many boxes realy.

the only thing that i can think of why they did not aprove me as beta tester is becouse i was not from the countries they was looking for beta testers .

anyway , i will some how get one ;) one or the other way
i just wanted to be one of the first to test this out , but it does not matter as long as info both here an else where are flowing in and some results are being showed to us , i will perhaps wait to buy this.

Azbox (with sw 0.1029) is slower (channel switching) than my ipbox , picture quality (SD/HD) is poor on Azbox HD (on Ipbox is much better), there is problem with HD channels (Filmbox HD from HB 13E and Anixe HD from Astra 19.2E [they are freezing all time] ) editing of channels on Azbox hd is also very poor (we can't select more channels, we have to select one by one and always press list button to enter to other menu and select add or move) I can't sort my favourites like I want on Azbox because this box change sorting channels in my fav group all time alone (especially when I exit from fav group), infobar in azbox is also poor (it should have more info for example about next program, maybe FreQ, sr, fec to see little more info when switch channels) , but in Azbox is much pretty OSD than in Ipbox, video , mp3 , photo player work and look better (in azbox) , on both working my Rotor Moteck SG 2100 diseqc 1.2 (in Usals mode) very well, quality of sound by optical connection is little bit better on azbox, VFD display is brighter on azbox than on my Ipbox 9000HD rel1 (on rel2 is better vfd), azbox very fast recognize my USB stick and very fast mount it ;) My cyfra+ , TNK card work without any configuration from cardreader in Azbox (but first we have to install OpenxCas.plugin), installing addons or sw from usb stick is very fast and simple in azbox. What is the speed of changes between two unencrypted channels comapred to the 9000HD?

I have Panasonic Plasma 37" with my settings of video on Hdmi 1 and Hdmi2 output (this same on both) In both tuners i have set 1080i. I even test it on my second LCD tv and there is also better quality on Ipbox (I am young and I have good eyes, even my friends see difference) . About speed. Azbox have problem even with FTA channels. OSD (infobar) show fast but picture on screen show after 3sec (on scrambled or fta channels) and very often after switch to another program picture freezing on one second (not always but sometimes on fta/scrambled channels) Ipbox for now is better and don't have problems with this... but everything is to fix. We will see soon when new sw and drivers wil be available for azbox hd. Cheers

Friend keep in mind that u are using not beta, alpha release of SW it is not yet called stableversion or nor RC version !!!

The latest and final news about Elite is that Elite comes with 1 x CR, 2 x CI, 2 x USB, One DVB-S Tunner and one free slot for second tunner.

i phoned the shop that had the elite model in stock and he told me it has 1 cardreader and no ci slots!

ofcourse if u look at azbox web site the spechs for the elite model is 2 cardreader(optional) 2 ci slots(optional).

therefore it depends on what the shops buy.
i saw a shop in portugal with 1 cardreader and 1 ci slot.
a shop in netherlands 2 cardreaders and 1 ci slot.
but all the german shops have only the 1 cardreader with 0 ci slots!

i decided to go for ipbox 910 hd now that i have sold my ****ty vantage 7100s hd.
may also buy a az box elite if i see 100% true technical specifications.

forgot to say - I'm only interested in a HD RX that can run both a sat/cable tuner combination, wi-fi has no merits - not in my hard wired gigabyte home. It has to have the ability to run emulation on par with dream boxes, don't give a sh*t what they are called, but c/s client & server is a must. if it can't it will fail like all others. My 800 HD DB is just about acceptable, but it's built like a pile of cheap crap, I think my 13yr old lad could have done a better job of designing it. Were the designers on acid when they conceived the idea of jamming a hot running cpu & hdd with no cooling inside a matchbox - idiots. It's been too long that dream multi media have survived on their boxes being able to, well lets just say - cheap telly. With the 8000 they have made a major blunder and priced theirselves out of the market, any idiot stupid enough to spend the kind of money that dream want for the 8000 must need their head testing, apologies to those that already have.

I think I speak for quite a few sat enthusiasts who are looking for a decent twin tuner RX @ a sensible price. I own 3 dreamboxes but the 800 will be my last. Lets hope that the Azbox fulfills our wishes, if not then it's another opportunity missed and on to the Qbox HD to see if they've produce a dream killer. I'm just thinking that in DMM pricing the 8000 @ what they have know something we don't.

You need to have more files ( multicas - openxcas - samples ) Incubus goes into openxcas incl conf and prio then adjust openxcas.conf into:

i think i have wrong incubus file. if i start it manually in telnet, with correct path to conf file it should be listed in the process list (ps). even if it dont decodes something. the program has to run. witch it dosnt.

if you go to the plugin tab and open xcas is it possible for you to switch between the cams (left - right) and select incubus or is there like by me only MultiCAS (in blue).

Yuo can only start it through telnet ( for now ).

Yes here the only option is multicas in plugin too.

If you have the cardreader working and replace the files I gave you Incubus should work perfectly.

Yeah they did only clear only with original box but seems like mbox emu will do the same. 1st it only may be available on azbox but i think it wont be long before we see it on other boxes.

@cafo , for now new sw is 0.1086 (beta and nopublic for all) but this sw is very poor. Image quality (SD/HD) is very bad (worst then in prevous sw versions) , channel switch is still slow (scrambled ofcourse, fta works little better) , now there is big problem with my cyfra+ card from cardreader (it very slow decoding and very often show info "Search" on screen) I'm using OpenXcas emu for now. It's a lot of job to do with sw for official support...

OK here we go:

1 - extract the files.rar
2 - Put them in /EMU through ftp
3 - Set 755 for :

A - emu_module ( it's in Multicas )
B - openxcas.conf ( it's in openxcas )
C - sample_module ( it's in Samples )
D - addons.conf ( it's in EMU )

Now reboot, your cardreader is working now if all rights are set correct, just select menu ( not home! ) then on the bootom cas module and then cas settings and select encryption.

Now for Incubus:

Add incubusCamd.sigma, incubusCamd.conf and incubusCamd.prio to:

/EMU/openxcas

set 755 for all 3 files

Edit openxcas.conf so it show this :

S.sh contains the start-up commands so we need to add the command there, but............... it's read-only so we need to make it RW:

1 - Login with telnet.
2 - give command:

mount -o remount,rw -t ext3 /dev/hda1 /MMP
3 - Now you can edit with you're favourite editor the S.sh file, add the follwing on the bottom of the file



sleep 10

cd /EMU/openxcas

./incubusCamd.sigma


Now reboot and Incubus will start @boot.

incubus running, can see messages on telnet. but no decode. the incubus is logged in at my cccam server (shows 2.0.11 as version not incubusCamd like old version).

Hello,
Some users (me too) have problems now,with our Elite!
After a reboot it hangs up with "loading" and nothing goes on.

I think, we should try to fix it with a firmware update ,over usb_stick.
(push standby button more than 5 seconds!)
But ,and thats the problem,we have no firmware found yet.
I ask the Seller he have no firmware,too.

So,it would be nice ,to find someone,who can gave/upload a firmware
for use,to reactivate our receivers.

Ah yes, the Premium has external supply, and the Elite has internal supply.

As you know that on Elite model there is no place to add HDD, but someone customized his box and on SSD DOM place he plug-in IDE and connected 3.5" HDD. Also there are pictures.

Maybe a stupid question, but in a previous page there was talking about edit a S.sh file. Where do i find that file. And which editor is possible to use under telnet ? On other linux i use nano. But there is no Nano here..

The allinone camd file, when setting up 2 lines in the conf file for incubuscamd and azbox is logged in to the server but not sending request for ecm, what is wrong. CCcam server is 2.0.9. Using that one because its the most stable CCcam ver for server useage..

Hoping for fast answer..

BTW: how do it collect epg data ? is it supporting all the networks in the world or do they have to write new epg catch metode after which country and network is used ?

I red that the card reader of IPBox is not very good, it only reads cards at the speed of 3,58MHz (like an phoenix card reader), can the AzBox cardreader be used for overclock the cards? I mean, can we change the speed it will read the cards?

Gb*x is good for CAS that are slow in seeding new CWs keys like S€ca, Vi@ccess, Con@x... isn't not so good with faster and more secure CAS like Irdeto and N*S, that change CWs keys very fast, with Gb*x you will miss some CWs and get a freeze, CCC@m is better in this subject.

Gbox protocol is dead, I hope that a new better protocol is build by DM competitors (AzBox, Ipbox, Kathrein, Qbox...) to give CCC@m and Dream Multimedia a bit of competition.

N*D*S yes but that was to be expected and I don't need it anyway... as it is rubbish...

Hopefully SSSP in other directions [like MBox] would be the proper continuation of GBox work... What I got is that CCcam is too big as an Emu/CS SW... And it's true, at least in DBox2 with CS!

Don't know of Incubus as of yet...

It's Azbox API restriction to have only one activated ECM pid streaming.

Waiting for AzBox developers to remove this restriction/problem.

Hi, I tested new SW and it seems playing xvid movies is upscaled but to much upscaled. ANd the subtitle "special characters" are working, not all of them but its better then before.
The_Ripper if you need more tester for mbox on AZBox Elite HD let me know i can test :).

AZbox doesn't support streaming. It doesn't even have a web interface, even though this is mentioned on various sites.
