Hi,just purchased a sony hd tv.and thinking about adding an hd reciever, just a couple of queries, my tv has freeview built in and i was wandering if getting the 6900 would i get a better picture than that the one which is built into the tv and also if it was routed to a dvd recorder can you record a freeview channel whilst watching a satelite channel.thanks baz.

hi mf135 i have a panasonic 32in tv with freeview build in but for some reason i think the tm6900 gives a stronger signal. for the extra few £ why not go for the tm6900.

I would go for the 6800, the freeview on my 6900 is not as goos as my Phillips Plasma TV. It also does nott have RF out . I never use the freeview on my Trchno 6900

Thanks, emirk, i was thinking of getting the 6900 because with the upscaling capabilitys of 6900 the picture quality might be better than freeview on my tv,but now that you say its not as good as your tvs freeview ill probably go for the 6800.thanks baz.
