View Full Version : Clips to hold coax to slates?

Are there any type of clips that I can use to hold a run of coax in place along the slated roof? Need to run from one side of house to the other - don't want it shifting about ...else it will get damaged.

Copper slate wire will do it, snip off about 8" and bend round the cable, slide the rest under the slate edge, otherwise you could get some 1" by 3" strips of weather band and warm it up before fitting over the cable.
or get a galvernized lashing wire cut it in to strips of about 6 inches untwist it so you end up with seperate strands then get about 3 strands and plaite them together fold them in half so they look like a big staple put each side of wire over the coax and tuck up under the roof slate been doing it this way for over 20 years
if its roof tiles just use coax cut into strips of about the same length and do exactly the same
