Dish to Astra1 angle help please!

Moving into new (rented) flat tomorrow where we can't attach a dish to the property :rolleyes: :mad:

Buuuut a small temporary patio stand style bracket should do for what I want but there's a bloody big tree in the way.

Anyone able to tell me, from the top edge of a dish, roughly what sort of angle there needs to be to get a signal from Astra? Is it steep of fairly flat?

25 degrees up and 34 degrees east of true south ish if you are in London.

A quick check is anywhere that gets sunlight at around 10am GMT this time of year

the obxtruction needs to be at least twice as far away as its height

so if its 15 feet high , you want it 30 feet or more away
