More Dream up help

Hi I got my null modem cable today and wanted to try it out so I decided to try it with my 500s first thing I did was do a back up of the Image with Dreamup only thing is I could not wait for it to finish so I stopped it during the process I now have a box that I cant flash as it aborts after 2 bars in the display are shown.I am able to erase the box but just cant flash it any ideas or can I do anything else, have also changed baud in PC from 9600 to 38400 but it made no difference.

don't know which version of DREAMUP ur using but i've never seen a backup option on it.
well will dreamup connect(remember have 500 switch off first)connect 500 (DO NOT TURN ON YET) set ur com port.press conect button,then turn on 500 .if it connects first load a flas erase image.when loaded erase. then load a max var image of ur choice don't think that speed is correct as dream up is very very slow but normally works Ok

Hi and thanks for your reply kegrak I am using Universal Dreamup V1.3.2.1 what is the latest version also should I change back the baud raud to 9600 do you think.

yes .have you had any luck getting it to connect ,main point being make sure dreambox is off before pressing connect in dreamup.what you didn't query was "erase image" don't know if there is a copy on this site?
I use universal ver 1.0.0.0 still just looked at v1.3.2.0 still no "backup" ??

Backup is only visible when 500 is powered up.Would love to get my hands on that erase file.

Erase image from the official IHAD site.....

....do not possess a 500 so not used by myself, hope you resolve your problem.

Thanks for all the help still does not work after trying erase file have sent back box to dealer.
