Guys last night, my 32inch LCD Phillips lost its picture.
One minute it was on then went for a bath came back and only sound working.
I can't even get the menu to show.
Is it worth getting it fixed or buy another ?
Its not a new model, its not even HD ready.

M8 I had the same problems on my 32 inch aquos sharp model the picture would disappear and the sound would be on. Well it is worth fixing, ours was still just under guarantee. The technician said its some wires at fault and he fixed them and its worked great ever since.

I went and got a 32" sammy last night.
Samsung LE32R88BD
Got it for £500 instead of £559, from comet told them it was only £479 in empire direct.
Nice tv, a lot better then the phillips that died the other night.
I'll try and find a repair shop in the Bolton area for the Phillips and my mum can have that, better than the wooden box with 3 knobs on the front she has now.
cheers guys
