am trying to get this channel on hotbird, put the channel frequecy in the hex converter. then do the same with the serv. id and pvid no. and take the last two digits then take out the 7 th and 8th digits of the code given. However i still cant pick this up after input to Humax 5400. Can Anyone let me know the first 8 digits to use for this channel?

channel still works fine , but it's the checksum , 4th and 8th byte of the dw you need to remove , not 7th&8th . at least thats how it's done on sammy .

aabbccxxddeeffxx , where xx is checksum and not needed .

gives you ,

aabbccddeeff

againg this is enough on sammy , not sure how your humax emu works - but i guess it's
similar .

Its okay i get the check sum bit right, its the 8 numbers infront that i cant get. I think the last 4 are 21AD after hex conversion dont know the first 4, Ive seen it as 0500 on lists. A bit confusing.

you must be looking at an old dw :)

those two bytes are not included in the current working one ,

thats service id and pcr pid , they should always be present .
the current working dw itself starts with 71DD........ as you can see in my attachment above .

humax inxtc cw

Remove (xx) from complete key every 4 bites>.. .. .. xx .. .. .. xx .. .. .. xx .. .. .. xx
then ipv 16 you have 12 bites for humax thats ok.
freq hex=2A66 sid last bite + pmt last bite =AD96 for inxtcfree stays always the same.
................................. ..........................
2A66 AD96 .. .. .. xx .. .. .. xx
2A66 AD96 .. .. .. xx .. .. .. xx

:p (please correct me if i are wrong):D

Its really much easier to load a key.bin with it already installed, and don't forget you have to select card +emu+s or it won't work even with the correct files.
