hdci 2000 channel list

I have downloaded the latest channel list but can not update my stb as i dont have a rs232 port on my pc, will a usb to rs232 converter work? or can i enter the channel details/pids in the advanced search menu using the remote. only trying to pick up the prem portrail channels. thanks for any advice.

Add the channels into your existing channel list using the Formula editor. The editor is a bit quirky but it does the job.
