Hi
is it possible to pick up a decent signal using a 45cm dish to receive analogue channels on 19 deg east, based in midlands?
hoping to set mate up with eurosport using an old nokia 1700 with his existing sly dish

regards

yes worth a go you would need to make sure the dish is perfectly aligned with a sat meter if possible

I think it should work , and if you had a zone 2 dish instead of a zone 1 dish it will definitely work , as I had 13e , 19e and 28e working on a zone 2 dish here in the north west

careful alighment and lnb skew will be paramount , as the skew will be set for 28e and not 19e

echelon is right zone2 yes bad weather will kill a zone1, south of northampton z1 works ok.pilsner

Just to add to that, you will need one of the LNBs with adjustable skew for best results, like a S*yware - some of the minidish LNBs have fixed skew.

Works perfect on Digital (you mean a Sky Zone 1 Dish) a few spakles on Analogue have even fitted on Hotbird (for people whose wives dont want a large dish on the wall

When I was at uni in London, my 45cm dish sticking out of the window was very capable of receiving 19e and even 13e. Not at the same time of course :) But bad weather will probably deterioate signal to unwatchable levels on 13e.
