i've just got an offer for a HDMI "M95 HD-S CI 100" Reviever from a company probably called "Comeag" and am wondering if anyone has some cool soft for it :)

Decent price, but I don't know anything about it. I've got an old Comag receiver which was patchable - has done sterling service over the years. Comag are a German importer, the one I had was a rebadged Opentel receiver.

They are normally on sale from L!dl as an introductory loss leader but I haven't seen this one yet.

I had a look at these receivers as a potential replacement for my Pace, but I have read this Comag also has problems with Diablo cam. :frown:

Comag HD-S CI 100 works fine with Diablo and Dragon.

Not that you need them, it is patchable, so ORF HD and premiere HD are open anyway.

The original software that comes with it suck, any CAM inserted and FTA channels disappear (SD) and, obviously no emulation.

One problem with it is that the channel editor supplied simply does not work, so ITV HD is still a problem, if anyone got the solution to that then that would be great.

I bought a M95 HD-S receiver two days ago. I installed this firmware (HD_CFG_APP_COMAG_290308.rs232) by th USB port without any problem. The new software is working good, except one thing. After I press MENU and 7799, nothing happens. Do I something wrong, or M95 has a different code, than Comag? Thank you for your help.

I have solved my problem, I used STBUpgader and now it is OK.

Did you manage to use the channel editor ? so that you use it to edit the channel details then upload to STB ?

I haven't tried the channel editor yet. I have got the receiver just on Friday afternoon. I'm happy that I installed the motordriver. I'm using two parabolas. One of them is an ASTRA-HBird with two heads, and the other one is a turnable dish. It works fine. I thing this is not the last time, that I write into this Forum. This is my first HD receiver.

I suggest to look for on Google a website to Comag HD. You will find Upgrader 1.0.4, with Help file and softwares too.
