Pioneer plasma goes pure white

Famed for the quality of their plasma screens, in particular their outstanding 'black' levels, Pioneer is to produce a limited edition version of its 50in award winning Kuro (Kuro meaning Black in Japanese) panels.
Rolling of the tongue quite nicely, the Shiro Kuro (Shiro meaning White in Japanese) sports an elegant pure white frame, which is sure to accentuate the excellent black levels and shadow detailing even further.
No official price has been given, but expect the one hiccup in your pursuit of the ultimate in style one-upmanship to be a £1000 premium on an already hefty price tag.
