500 s updated with gemini 4.2 and ccam 2.07. Worked fine for a while then BANG no signal. Tried and 3 diifrent places. Reflashed with original image ...... and back to gemini NO SIGNAL.
Yes one transponder only on Hotbird scans some channels.
Any solution or is the tuner gone ?

Did you try download a channel list to see if you get a signal then, Also gemini 4.1 seems to perform better on the dm500.

The tuner can be repaired but is it worth the cost?

Might be worth checking your LNB/switching before going down the tuner route. You could also check the tuner output voltages @ the 'F' connector with the lead disconnected and the box switched on. Should read approx 14 volts dc when Hor and 18 volts dc when Vert selected, or 14 for Vert and 18 for Hor, for LNB Switching. If voltages are ok could try another LNB.
If same 'Tuner'?
