Can U Record off a Freeview LCD TV or do you still need a digibox connected to your dvd recorder ( no it has not got freeview built into the recorder). Otherwise its a waste of time buying a Freeview LCD TV, You might aswell just buy a DVD recorder with a digi tuner built in.

the scart out on the tv would give a signal to record onto dvd recorder but all new dvd recorders have freeview built in some with twin tuners

Most Freeview TV's also have to be left switched on all the time if you want to record something.

there are also freeview recorders that have dvd+ hard drive recorders with twin tuners unless of course you have the mega bucks for the lg but I doubt the lg will let you record from an external source and of limited use and not very flexible dvd h/d recorders can be had for a fraction of a new telly
