That image shows hdmi on the rear as well as composite outputs. These are not evident on other pictures and dont conform to rumours? Maybe this image is correct, maybe not, but it really makes me wonder if that date on the picture is reliable?

Digital Nordic is the main distributor in Sweden, the boss Basem has no information on this yet.

Now maybe there was another dealer that give you the Photo , but im afreid it looks very fake.

The Norwegian dealer confirms that there will not be any HDMI output, and he konfirms even the date is not know yet, last talk i had with dealer, was not sure if it will be march or may.

Lets hope it will be with HDMI but i do not think so.

M8 I have a monster plug that one end you put in a hdmi cable and the other you plug in to dvi socket in telly.

I use this for my dvd player, because my HD telly only as one hdmi input and sky hd goes in there, so i have to use the dvi on the telly and the picture quality is no difference to me, i think its just that hdmi carries the audio as dvi does not.

HDMI is essentially completely backwards compatable with DVI thereby allowing minimal loss of signal qaulity if any,the only drawback is that DVI will not pass "Audio" unlike HDMI but you can pass the audio via optical or the cinch outputs.....but again cinch will not pass "DD 5.1" so its better to use optical for that.:D

Optical digital out is present bottom far right next to the DC 12v input!.......And you could take analogue audio out using a phono L/R breakout cable from the scart.:D

Well I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong but if you mean with card sharing I would say none as there is no other image available yet, the only receiver that I know for certain will work is the Kathrein.

i will only buy the Dream800s if it can take Gemini image 4.00 which i find by far is most stable image which i'm using on my 600s .i will wait a bit to hear some reports on this box before spending 100's quid on it it will probably be late summer before offical release of 8000s dream which most probably will be the better of the two boxes.
hopefully both 800HD dream and 80000HD dream both will be Gemini image friendly.

I read that post on the forum you linked to Saviola, and it was the hi-def ipbox that they were discussing but its also known as the cuberevo which some of the posts called it, as well as mentioning abcom and dgstation etc. There were also the pics of the 9000 and the 900 model in the same way theres dm8000 and dm800. Whatever the names used it is the same box and not something new, so there are posts here that cover all the same info.

Update: I rang distributor today to ask if any news about the arrival of the DM800. Reply was "they will be 3 weeks" this seems odd as a week ago the same distributor told me "two and a half weeks" :mad:

Theres some good alternative boxes that are out now maybe not linux, but they will still clear the same channels, and they have got hdmi.
