Nokia N80 Slider Problem

Hi Guys

Just put my Nokia N80 in a new housing as the old was looking pretty rough. Problem is now that when I close the slider it no longer asks me if I want to lock the keypad. Also when I open it, it no longer responds until I hit a button. Think I must be missing a connection somewhere but I've re-assembled it 3 times now and can't find anything different to the old. Has anyone any idea what may be wrong or how the phone recognises the slider opening?

Can't believe it was something so simple. For reference to anybody else who has this problem there's a small magnet in the housing under the screen. Need to put that in the new housing.
