Hi All, Was thinking about getting the above unit to use for feedhunting...but I also have a 300gb external USB Harddrive doing nothing. I was going to use my Echostar 3600 as the positioner, anybody got one and can give me any advice on the pros and cons.

Great little box will blind serch for feeds. At the moment it wont record scrambled channel but should be fixed with new software get a V Box 2 and use it with your old four wire motor

Thank you Paul for your reply...I have ordered one, but for now will keep using my Echostar as my main receiver as I have a dragoncam.

I noticed that you and some other members kindly post updates for numskulls like me...so could you let me know what the latest software and patches are for this model, can I use the TM softcam from the keys section to keep the receiver upto date?
