715 is the map version not the tomtom model. They will work on any tomtom unit with v7 software.

what is needed to get this working as i have ver 710 maps working but using the crack for these it says invalid bla bla inside **** file as this **** file is for 710 only i asume ?

lop,
you have to change the m*e*t*a.txt file to include your new maps. From the place on rapidshare that lists all the maps copy and paste the series of numbers and name for your map into the m*e*t*a.txt in your keygen folder. To get an idea of what you're looking for take a look inside your current m*e*t*a.txt file

:confused:I am trying to download Western Europe maps, as you know, these are in 15 sections. I 've managed to download 12, but the last 3, numbers 6,7 & 11 are causing problems. It seems as if rapidshare are deliberetly blocking me downloading these three files. If i try and download a file i already have there is no problem.

Downloaded the 15 section Western Europe got the foldr containing all the files transferred to TomTom map not showing on unit which is a 700.
710 maps working fine.

Any ideas ?

I eventually managed to download all 15 parts of the Western Europe map, and have been following Russell1's instructions for installing them. However, i only get as far as this message, "Can't find 'Western_Europe\*.****' file error". What am i doing wrong. I've copied and pasted into my **** file.

I've given up trying to get the Western Europe maps to work, and luckily came across a "Happy Hour" on rapidshare, and so was able to download UK & RI maps.
I am following Russell1's instructions to the letter, but still can't get the maps to work. I've followed the command prompt instructions, got the OK.
I've created a folder containing the map, tt7 keygen, and the **** file to which i've added the UK map details, loaded it all onto a memory card, put it in the TT720, but when i go to change maps, it isn't there!!
What am i doing wrong??

I may be reading your post wrong ,but if your using the KG ,do you not create the folder on your C:\ drive , then add the KG and the map ,then use the run command ??
I did this for TT6 , unless TT7 is different or my brain has gone **** up !

Downloaded the1gb western europe 8 files works fine.
This one is described as no tts the 8 file was tts could this be the difference and why are they different ?didn't work though even after using the patcher.
Anyway as i said the 1gb works fine, but can somebody tell me with it being smaller then the the other Western Europe map do you lose any information or detail ?

How do you add the info to the **** file please? I had opened it with notepad, can I just paste the series of numbers and map info right at the begining?

I am sorted now - I was using the Tomtom Keygen Instructions from the sticky, which are wrong for the new maps.
If anyone is stuck like I was, have a look in Tomtom v7 Maps now cracked post where you can get the TT7 Keygen, ****.txt & Patch zip for the new maps. That should put you on the right tracks

I havn't got TT7 as I thought it was only for the dedicated TomTom units .I'm using TT6 on my phones/PDA/Navigo with the UK & WE map [675.1409]

TT7 is only for the dedicated units & the v7** maps will not work on TT6, You have already got the latest map you can use on a PDA / phone.

Use save as if that doesn,t work use save as and copy to your desktop and then copy and paste it where you need it.

Just updating a tomtom One for a friend. I have installed the V7 UK maps but there is no voice instructions.

I downloaded the maps which said No TTS as it was a smaller file-am I correct in assuming I need the map file which says TTS?

Please advise-thanks.
