Im having problems clearing ***view and Free X.
I have ToH3.4_HoT10.6b and the PMCT table that came with it but no luck in clearing the above.
Premier and TPS are clearing fine.
My loader is 2.08

HI people,

I got a mate's Hum5400Z to play with and to get him Premiere Sport channels (which I know are still open).

I have loaded it with the latest files in here (ToH3.4 plugged HoT10.6b) and my setup as per ozzsurf's image above, but still no Premiere ?!

I get an 'F' in the information box for Prem Sport 1 if that means anything ?

The loader version is H 2.08.

Is this box not compatible ? I noticed it had TOh3.3 prior to me staring working on it !

Hi wsm25,

Bearing in mind that you get an "F" (meaning free to air) in the Info Box and the receiver was using ToH3.3, I would suggest that you load a new Channel Set. The Premiere channels have probably changed frequencies since the box was last used.

Premiere Sport 1 is an encrypted channel and you are looking for a letter "N" (for Nagravision) to appear in the small square box which is viewable when you press the Red button on your remote.

To load a new channel set you will need:

HNFSmart or Humbox software loaded on your computer.
An up-to-date Channel Set such as Pet123 or Cyrus.

Note:
1. The actual Channel Set required will depend on your system set-up. i.e. whether you have a fixed dish, single or multiple LNB's or a motorised system.

2. Many of the Premiere channels are hard to tune in manually. Loading a new channel set is the easier option.

3. Before doing an update, it is prudent to download your existing Channel Set from your receiver to your computer and then save a file copy. You can then re-install this Channel Set or refer to it in the future.

4. Not all Channel Sets have the Antenna Settings in the same order. You should check the order (in particular Astra and Hotbird) before you upload a new set to your receiver.

5. After opening a Channel Set in HNFSmart or Humbox, the Antenna Settings can be viewed by clicking on the Antenna Tab.

P.S. Look for a new PET123 Channel Set posting by Voith Driver in the next 24 hours.

There are 2 .hnf settings files in the newest pet123: toh_45east-43west-Humax-19-27.hnf (4014 TV channels) and toh_45east-43west-Humax-30-21.hnf (1667 TV channels).
My dish is driven by an independent positioner (not Humax controlled) and the actuator (36 V arm motor). Which of the two setting files should I use? (I know I have to reduce the number of channels (TV + Radio) under 4000). What is the difference between the two .hnf files except for the number of channels?

Hi Luis,

I would suggest you use the toh_45east-43west-Humax-19-27.hnf (4014 TV channels) version.

Recommended adjustments before uploading are as follows:

1. Go to the Antenna tab and untick the "Motor" option and apply the change. This will prevent your Humax "attempting" to move the dish.

2. In the Menu Settings tab, set the appropriate time offset.

3. I realise that you mention the channel limit in your posting but I always recommend keeping the number of channels as low as possible. Delete all the channels that you cannot receive or decode. I keep my total at about the 3000 level. This helps prevent the freezing or slow scrolling when you change channels.

The other channel set appears to have whole bouquets missing for various satellites such as 1 and 7 deg West.

thanks for you reply , I tired what you said putting on the latest pet setting , still no luck with premier though !

It now does not show 'F' for Prem Sport like for example with DSF channel which is FTA, but I am not getting 'N' for nagra either.

I tried putting HoT10.6b on top again , changed the config to what is mentioned above again , even manually inserted the Prem keys , still no picture. !

I must say with Humax -which I am pretty familiar with- it seems very inefficient the way we have so many tools to insert pet, toh, pmct and bin files etc , although some tools seem to try and help to do more than one.

What do you reckon is going on with Premierre here ? it has taken me ages to sort something that is relatively simple , I expected to take no more than 1/2 hour on totally unknown receivers to me :)

Just in case you don´t know or you forgot m8. After loading new settings to Humax you have to do two things: load key bin again (loading settings erase it) and select CARD+EMU in configuration menu (it switches to CARD after loading settings).

Hi wsm25,

Sorry to read that you are still having problems.

Although, you say that a letter "N" is not appearing, you do not say what is appearing in the small square box.

If it is an asterisk (*), this may indicate that you haven't got a valid funcard (or similar) inserted in the in-built Irdeto Cam, ensuring that it is the right way up.

The card does not need to be up-to-date but has to contain an ATR key. As this key does not change, any card programmed in the past should work. Any other Cam should be removed.

If you are decrypting any other bouquets, it is working.

If a letter "B" is appearing, you need to upgrade your PMC Table. Look for the latest Xamuh release.

As mentioned by Luis your CAID Preselect (in the Config menu) should be set to Card + Emu.

Hi guys, I got 10.6b. Whatever I do, only SV Promo channel (ID 401) gets cleared for me. All the other SV channels not. FreeX and X-Dream clear ok. Is it a key.bin problem? Do I have to upload new key.bin just for this and if yes, specifically which keys? I have last Xamuh PMC.

I tried it all and it looks ok (I see Irdeto icon), but still not decrypting.
Actually I'm getting the CAM error 037 - You have no rigths for this service. Only SV G*y, SV HD and SV Promo show some acitivity on top of I icon, all others no.

Make sure that any third party Cam is removed from the Common Interface slot and that you have a funcard (or gold / silver) inserted in the inbuilt Irdeto Card slot.

The channels should be decoding via the Emulator (Emu) and not the Card. You should not be getting a Cam error message.

Check again to ensure that your CAID Preselect is set to Card + Emu.

Thanks Marco, never realised, but, since I wrote that post Tps etc has gone on my system and I don't know what happened, can't clear anything at all on 13e apart from free channels of course, will have to wait till tomorrow to see if 19e still works as I can't move dish when everyones in bed as the motor noise rattles throughout the house.

Thanks for the replies, I only just got the chance to re-try this.

I cannot beleive how an important things such as having to insert a card in the Irdeto slot is not highlighted.

Everything was there & ready, I just didn't know I needed to have a card in there.

All cool & working ....


by the way, does this work on Hum 5300 ? and Hum5100 (+ magic or something)... bit greedy :D
