on the s-rsupport website there is new firmware for the echolink 777, anyone know what it does. i use the m@resat at the moment with ***view etc but wondered what the other does thanks

Not much. A few minor bug fixes, a crc error etc.. It's best not to use that site as some of the firmware is a little suspect. There's no benefit to loading it unless you have problems.
I'll upload the latest official firmware here shortly.

Personally I use "srs" all the time now as it was one of the updates from here that locked me out of my Echolink 777 a few months back.

Moresat is a site I dont use as its given me problems in the past.

Whilst its appreciated the work thats done by members here, I didnt call firmware from here "suspect" when it messed my stb up.

AFAIK SRS are ok the 777 update from there fixed my stb firmware i uploaded from here so go figure.

Im not flaming just putting the facts forwards :)
