I have Mgcamd connected to gb*x server.

In emu control on the Kathrein 910 it shows the following.

Gb*x:
Host/port Hello Ecm out Cw in Avg. ecm time
????server?????? :17543 0 0 0 0

Box: uptime = 6903s, CPU load: 1 min 131072 / 5 min 133152 / 15 min 134656
RAM in bytes: total 32870400 / free 2850816 / shared 0 / buffers = 2318336
mgcamd: total memory allocated by malloc, in bytes: 135168 (132kb), chunks 31040

It is connected as far as I know. But won't decode anything.

Anyone got any ideas.

check your ignore list in kathrein files

Thanks Pipino.

I have checked the ignore list and everything seems to be fine. Unfortunely it still says the same. Just don't know why it won't connect.

Thanks for your input.

maybe your server doesn't want you to connect :)
check with your buddy .
the only thing your above log says , is that mgcamd is running but no gbox server is connected .

Thanks Raul.

Not sure if the server want to connect but the peer says he can see me at his end.:)

I seems in ECM and EMM info that the starred (*) ECM's are receiveable and there is not many starred ECM's.

Strange how I can't get this to work.

Is there any other was of getting Gb*x to connect to a Kathrein?

look at in /data/keys/mg_cfg you must have this

# network mode, use summ for several clients
# 00 no network (default)
# 01 newcamd netclient
# 02 radegast netclient
# 04 camd3 netclient
# 08 gbox netclient
G: { 08 }

and

# network shares priority
# 00 gbox, newcamd, radegast, camd3 (default)
# 01 camd3, radegast, newcamd, gbox
# 02 newcamd, camd3, gbox, radegast
P: { 00 }

good luck;)

I have already suggested this in a thread 5 days ago. Are you certain that your dreambox has reshare entitlements? pay servers usually do not.
Why not try the Kathrein directly connected in place of the dreambox?

I have peer.cfg and mg_cfg are chmod to 755.

All mgcamd in data/emu is chmod also to 755.

Thanks for everyones input.

Found out you can start mgcamd but putting data/emu/mgcamd in telnet.

Says stuff like can't bind error 98 address already in use.

Network can't decode. Also trys all the ECM and EMM it can.

No joy on this yet.

Keep you posted.

Got it going, many thanks to Crabber for his help.

Once you get the Peer.cfg and cwshare correct all works well.

Many thanks for everyones input.
