Remote Problem

The TV that I won arrived today, only a week late but not to worry. I have set it up and its brilliant in fact I'm going to get another for the bedroom. Just one Query if anyone can help. My Sky+ remote does not control the volume correctly. It works but only one press at a time. If you keep the + or -button pressed it only goes up or down one notch. So to turn it down I have to press the button about 10 times and again to turn it up. Not a major problem but a strange one. The actual remote that came with the TV works fine. Also I have programmed my JVC DVD to operate the TV and this also only works one press at a time.

Sly remotes only work a TV correctly if you put in the correct code for that specific TV.

There is info on this in Sky Interactive > 5, Customer Services > 5, Program your remote > Select > choose TV manufacturer

then follow the instructions.

It is possible that your TV is to new to have a code though.

Thanks I will check the code to see if its any diffrent to the published code in the Sky+ Manual as this is a few years old.
